Irregular Flagstone
     
As the name implies this stone comes in various shapes and sizes as well as thicknesses. Most irregular flagstone will have a natural cleft surface, although a few will be smooth sawn. The irregularity of the stone can create a natural woodsy appearance for pathways as well as a formal look when laid in cement for a patio or walk.
     
Bluestone - Full Color
The full color range of bluestone - gray, green, brown with a natural cleft surface in random shapes and sizes. Used for walks and patios.

Size: Random irregular shapes and sizes - 1 1/2 sq. ft. to 
5 sq. ft.
Thickness: 1” (ranges 3/4" to 1 1/4"), 1 1/2" (ranges 1 1/4" to 2 1/2")

Bluestone Lilac
Brown, lilac and some green in random shapes and sizes with a natural cleft surface. Used for walks and patios.

Chocolate Grey - Quartzite
Silver gray color with brown rust tones throughout with a not too severe natural cleft surface. Mica in stone gives a shiny appearance. Use for walks and patios.

Colorado Rose - Sandstone
A deep rosy red color with a mostly smooth surface makes this stone great for patios and walks as well as around pools and water features.

Emerald Grey - Quartzite
Silver gray color with a bit of rust tones mixed in with a not too severe natural cleft surface. Use for walks and patios.

French Country - Sandstone
A range of earth tones - browns, gray, red with a fairly smooth surface. This stone has a very woodsy look and feel and would be great for naturalizing. Use for walks, patios and randomly done stepping stones.

Idaho Birch Creek - Quartzite
Dark almost charcoal color tones with a shiny natural cleft surface. Mica in stone creates a reflective ability thereby less absorption of heat from the sun. Use for walks and patios.

Idaho Gold - Quartzite
Silver gray color with heavy rust and bronze tones with a subtle natural cleft surface. The reflective ability of the mica in stone makes it an ideal candidate for pool decking since it will absorb less heat from the sun. Use for walks, patios and pool decking.

Idaho Silver - Quartzite
Mostly all silver gray color with some rust and bronze tones with a subtle natural cleft surface. The reflective ability of the mica in stone makes it an ideal candidate for pool decking since it will absorb less heat from the sun. Use for walks, patios and pool decking.

Idaho Pool Coping - Quartzite
A mix of gold and silver in a thicker material for use a coping for edge of pools. Mostly rectangular in shape but leaving that natural irregular look.

Size: 2 ft. to 3 ft. long and 12” to 18” depth

Mohave
A gray and tan color mix gives this stone a light cooling look. Use for walks, patios, around garden beds and water features. Recommended this be laid in cement base, stone does have a tendency to flake somewhat.

Southwest Buckskin - Sandstone
Light to medium tan with maybe a hint of rose tone indicative of the natural colorscape of the southwest. The flagstone comes in larger size pieces than most. Use for walks, patios, and pool decking. Smooth surface texture.

Southwest Rosa - Sandstone
This stone from the southwest has a soft rosy pink color tone and comes in similar size range as the Buckskin above with a smooth surface texture. Use for walks, patios, and pool decking.

South Bay - Quartzite
A mix of tan, buff, brown, dark brown and a touch of peach bring all the earth tones together in one stone. With its natural cleft surface this stone can be used for walks, patios, pool decking and as stand alone stepping stones in the garden.

Tennessee Blue-Gray - Sandstone
Almost a solid color, this blue-gray blend lends itself to a cooling effect and is ideal around pools and water features. Also is a good substitute for bluestone where heat absorption is a concern. Use for walks, patios and pool decking.

Tennessee Buff (variegated) - Sandstone
Also known as Tennessee Crab Orchard, this stone is mostly buff and brown with some peach as well. Among the lighter buff pieces there may be some swirls of golden tone throughout as well. Truly a stone with character. Use for walks, patios and pool decking.

Tumbled Blue Patio - Bluestone
A mix of the full color range of bluestone in a softer look. The tumbling process rounds off the edges and lightens the color to an almost sky blue tone. There will still be some mix of green and rust tones in some pieces. A very rustic worn look.

Vermont Slate - Slate
Although the pieces are relatively rectangular, this is still considered an irregular flagstone. There are three color groups - black, red, and mixed or mottled. The mixed or mottled group will be gray, green, purple tones either solid pieces or mixed within a piece. Some pieces, especially the black, will have “ribbons” or strips going along the length that may be a shade darker than the whole. Use this stone for walks, patios and landings - in-doors and out. Recommended this stone is laid in cement.

Size: Roughly 12 x 18 and irregular shapes

Larger size irregular pieces used for stepping stones for a natural look in the garden or trails. Made from standard PA fieldstone.

Western Sunset - Sandstone
White, yellow, gold and pinks in various combinations makes this stone distinctive. A natural cleft surface for use in walks and patios as well as around water features.

Winchester Cut Flagstone - Sandstone
This flagstone is true earth tone colors of browns and tans, with a distinct natural cleft surface. All pieces are cut relatively square and rectangular, rather than totally irregular.
